Here's a modern stool that combines high tech industrial design with hand-craftsmanship. Philippe Starck created the Hudson Collection for Ian Schrager's Hudson Hotel in New York. This modern furniture collection is constructed of aluminum using a proprietary thermal treatment that makes them three times stronger than steel. Each chair is built individually and uses recycled materials. Included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art and selected by the Chicago Athenaeum as one of the top 100 designs of 2000, the Emeco Hudson modern dining chair will add flair to any dining or office area.
